We are pleased that our organisation is a recipient of a £1,000 grant from the Virgin Media O2 Together Fund.
Thank you from from everyone at Virgin Media O2 and Neighbourly.
Our organisation is now 1 of 400 local charities across the UK promoting community belonging and togetherness and inspiring positive action to protect nature and the local environment – we’re delighted to be a part of this community!
We are very grateful for the grant of £45,000 from Augean towards the cost of refurbishing the former school in Easton on the Hill to create a café and social hub where young people who have Down’s syndrome can gain work experience.
We are also very grateful to Grantscape for facilitating the grant, www.Grantscape.org.uk
We would like to thank the National Lottery for the grant we have just received from them for £8920. This donation will make a huge difference to our plans and our young people, thank you!
On 11th May 2019, helped by some amazing family and friends, two of our trustees, Miranda Rock and Laura Tilley, ran the notorious Rat Race to raise funds for T21 and our goal to build a cafe with a difference.
The Rat Race at Burghley House is the world’s largest assault course; covering 20 miles and offering 200 monster obstacles – it is not for the faint-hearted… Completing the course took over 5 hours and they faced some serious challenges along the way. Thanks to all the extraordinary efforts of their fellow team-members, together they managed to raise over £100,000.
We were overwhelmed by all the support we received.. a huge thank you to all our competitors and a host of generous donors, your involvement was amazing on the day and your generosity has given us the war chest we needed to take our vision forward.
